I may have to go all in on a vinyl set up just so I can spend the day like Okeman did...

Although not a bonus track, Phosphate Skin is still my favorite on the entire record.

On Chant and Strum is probably my 2nd favorite Son Volt album after Trace, and the bonus songs are a big reason why.

I consider "On Chant and Strum" to be Jay's masterpiece to date, and the tracks not included on "The Search" play a big part in why. I was listening to the vinyl through headphones the other day, while simultaneously reading the lyrics from the gatefold. It was a good day.
