The Burrito Bros version is the best. Gram on the first 2 FBB albums had an amazing voice. Those records are what got me into country music and I love them for that. Run and get a copy of the Sleepless Nights disk now.

I have a live copy of it too. It ranks up there as one of Farrar's (UT & SV) best covers, the best probably being the cover of A Good Year for the Roses, or, if you want to be picky about cover songs, No Depression and Atomic Power.

I'm pretty sure Son Volt used to play this song. I know Jay closed with it on piano at his last show at Mississippi Nights. My question is if this is a cover and, if so, who wrote it? Beautiful song, in my opinion. Would have fit perfectly on Terroir Blues.
