I enjoyed his set for the most part. Some pretty entertaining songs. On a few songs he uses a pedal to add some distortion to his acoustic guitar, and it sounds pretty awful frankly -- such a muddy mess that you can't even really hear his chord changes. On the whole, I'd say his set is better than mediocre but certainly not great.

As for the album... He joked that it's felt "like unicorns or Chinese democracy: possible in theory but unlikely ever to happen." But he did say that it is mostly finished and should be out sometime this year.

I am very curious how his performances have been, opening for Jay. Any word on his album release? Haven't been able to find any info about it...
