Gathering from the footage, Horton likes to shred, Jays voice and arm seem unencumbered, teh Son Volt is in full swing

Excellent! Thanks. So 99% is kept from the last tour. And it received a nice reception from the audience. I do think that is a good choice for the live set.

Was your friend able to scribble down a setlist? Would like to compare with last tour, see if anything from Union stayed (or maybe Waterloo?) Etc.

Side note: I see that Jesse Farrar is opening the first dates. Per Old Salt Union website: “ Primary vocalist and bassist, Jesse Farrar (for the indie rock heads - yes, he’s related – Son Volt front man Jay Farrar is Jesse’s uncle) ”

Dear Son Volt fans of the STL region and those willing to travel through the delta variant environment to witness the most insightful, poetic,and true to our times band these two plus decades has ever witnessed…please send updates of this fine evening. I last saw this band on the Union tour and was blown away. Similar fashion I’m sure, but set my guessing antics to rest. Please verify! I kindly wait the messenger’s response…
