Maybe after Touring last Fall with "Canyon" Jay missed having a full band  What I really missed with Jay being solo is Dave Boquist playing the Fiddle and Viola did he also play the Banjo :?:

I wonder what the 4th album will sound like. And I'm very curious as to what the title will be.

I'm sure glad the solo dates aren't affected. It will nice to hear Son Volt again. Although I do hope that he continues putting out his solo work. When you have your own label, anything is possible.

I spoke to Sharon , and she said the November solo dates wont be affected.

What a cool label , when you can just call and ask questions, she sounds like shes a big fan as well! 8)

great news indeed....now i'm hoping for a loud, yet stripped down four piece (son volt baby!) version of the national anthem at a Cardinals playoff game. maybe something along the lines of 'open all night' from the nebraska tribute cd.

great, great news. how sweet will it be buying the disc, cranking up the volume and pressing play that first time to jam out to new son volt?

also, this might be a stupid question, but will the webcast have sound as well or just a camera feed?

You are the ones that though he was going to treat his band Son Volt like UT debacle that is.  Great to see Jay stick to his word about bring Son Volt back this is :D :D very COOL.

I always wondered how Space Junk would sound with a full band.

Happy days.
