It was kinda surreal... or maybe it was just the drugs...
Christ I wish the Powerhouse was still open...sniff...
So they closed the Powerhouse??? What the hell else is there to do in Sebastopol???
;-)

p.s. check out the Sunday afternoon concerts at Rancho Nicasio sometime... I saw Marcia Ball, Zig and The Flatlanders there.

i posted this before, but i went to Halifax, Nova Scotia this past summer and theres a major cemetary in the heart of the city and the entrance has a stone lion and the word "Sebastopol" carved in.

I can fwd the pic I took of it, its very cool. I sent Sharon a copy and told her to post it to the photo section, but since Jay wasn't in the picture I guess she didn't feel like posting it.

my 2 cents...

Course, I was always there to see Wayne Hancock...I did meet Roy Rogers at a private party he played though- one of the nicest folks I have ever talked to

I'm sure i'll feel the same way come sunday night, then it's off to a Bob Dylan show in Berkeley. I've heard it's pretty much hit or miss with him lately, so we'll have to see...

There's a "blink and you'll miss it" town in Illinois (across the river from St. Louis -- NorthEast of Belleville) called Sebastopol as well.

Just a little Sebastopol trivia for all those little Sebastopolians out there.

Post by saratoga jay »

instead of beef, chicken or fish the dinner choices on the rsvp card were tofu burgers, alphalfa sprouts or granola.
