My current plate in AL is NCL2PLO... Very few people get the Uncle Tupelo reference.

California is a big state with a lot of cars. So it was a surprise after living in Marin for almost 30 years to see (on Sir Francis Drake in Kentfield):

I think it was on a Chevy Volt. I would imagine the owner visits this site--any chance you'd sell those plates?

i have 4 New York State license plates (2 w/the old statue of liberty design, 2 w/the new two toned blue empire state design) from my days living Upstate that read....SON VLT

While in Lexington, KY last week I seen a personalized plate that I figured had to be someone on this board.

It was from Illinois and read "TUPELO2"...

Just thought it was cool and would mention it here.
