SV makes me contemplative; at home it's bushmills on the rocks, or PBR if it's not yet 5PM.

You can get Duvel here as well.

I lean towards the Sierra Nevada, Bells Amber and, when I'm in the mood for the lower end stuff, Coors.

Some years ago my then-wife went to Belgium for business. Brought back a beer called Duvel (sp?)

Is this a known beer over there in your neck of the woods? Anyway, I poured it into a frosted mug and it looked like regular old American beer. HOWEVER....man, it packed a punch! I think it was 9.5%. I believe it was a pale ale. Anyway, good good shit man.

Mort - No doubt I'll recognize you at the next concert, sitting there with your Akevit and all  I always thought that was some kinda christmas/new year drink. I tasted some potato based moonshine that was 97%! some years ago, drank a little straight out of a bottle, felt :? , and haven't drunk potato brewed stuff ever since (unless it's cleverly disguised in some tropical heaven of a drink that is:) )

I know I'm from the south, but I really dig those Canadian beers. (Well, I'm half Canadian anyway). Molson and Labatt Blue. Molson XXX too, but we don't get it down here.

Another good beer is Lowenbrau (probably misspelled) its not Canadian and we also don't get down here.

I must say I am a bit surprised that Fenrisinho is a beer-drinker. I had him figured as an Aquavit-drinker...

For those of you unfamiliar with aquavit, it is a spirit produced in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Northern Germany. It is made from a grain or potato mash that is fermented and then double distilled.

I must say, Fenrisinho, that I am shocked and a little disappointed...

Cheers,

M.
