I just give up on you lad (The Bends is the better album)
Trace is always a candidate. So is Nebraska.
Today I think I'll say Live at Fillmore East by The Allman Brothers. A superb record. (and together with Rust Never Sleeps my favourite live record ever!)
my parents albums- johnny cash- live at folsom prison
my albums- (tie)kiss- destroyer/bob seger nine tonight
oldass cassette- UT last show bootleg copy
cd- son volt- trace
I guess everyone is gonna say Trace, but if I'm honest with myself I'd have to say Exile On Main St.
18 tracks, all brilliant, so much variety.
It works as both a Saturday night AND Sunday morning record.
I've played it more than any other record I own.
I never tire of hearing it.
Exile On Main St. is my religion.
'May the good lord Shine A Light on you,
Make every song you sing your favourite tune,
May the good lord Shine A Light on you,
Warm like the evening sun.'
Jeez, that's difficult. I have my flavors of the month, but one album that pops to my mind is Radiohead's Kid A...it really is excellent, and I never tire of it. So I think I'm gonna go for that, but there are so many others I could pick (The Soft Bulletin by Flaming Lips ranks very high as well, along with Wide Swing Tremelo and, believe it or not, Lateralus by Tool.)
