best record in your collection
Right now I'm really digging Wide Swing Tremolo and Terroir Blues. Three Snakes One Charm by the Crowes is also a big favorite. And Summerteeth is both the worst and the best record I ever bought. And probably the best bargain I ever made.
I like all of my records though so it's hard for me to pick favorites

Cheers mcarlton.
The version for sale on Amazon.co.uk has a different track listing to the one on the US site- no 74-75!
I'll get the American release.
74-75 got quite a lot of airplay in England in the summer of 95, so as well as being a great song I've got a lot of memories attached to it as well.

74-75 is from the same band. It was on the Ring cd.

That was their "big" single.

Is that the band that did '74-'75?mcarlton wrote:Band is out of North Carolina But i saw em a few times in NJ. Boylan Heights, Fun and games and then One Simple word from 87-90 were great cd's. Kinda took over (at least for me) the REM jangly pop sound that they abandoned near that time.stretch wrote: Hey, Mcalton, is Connells that sort of jam band from the North East?? I really liked that song.
I just looked on Amazon but couldn't see '74-'75 listed on any of their albums.
Anyone know what album it was lifted from?
Or was it a non-album single?

I've given away all but like 12 of my CDs...I'd say the best CD I currently own is:
Charlie Robison - Life of the Party...autographed no less...
Best Vinyl:
Pink Floyd - Relics...it easily beat out my Pearl Jam christmas 7"s.
Best tape:
Dead Milkmen - Chaos Rules: Live
99% of my music is on my computer...I ripped it all and sold the CDs to Tradestop or gave them away.

Great records all..I've got so many fav's it's hard to pick!! Almost like the 10 albums you'd have on the Lost island. I've been listening in the car real frequently the Wilco 3-14-05 set and been on a Whiskeytown kick so, being the space cadet I am I'd pick Derek and the Dominos- Layla. That one and the Stones Exile are just so much fun to listen to. Hey, Mcalton, is Connells that sort of jam band from the North East??
