James Tweedy?

What the hell ...

Can't folks do just a little tee-nincey bit of RESEARCH here and there?
How long has the Jay/Jeff divorce been final now?

Whoever wrote this should be smacked in the face.

I'm reviewing the Wilco show this weekend...I'll have to rave on and on about how awesome Cliff Farrar has been with the evolution of the band.

Son Volt will end a seven-year hiatus this summer with a new album.

The band's Okemah and the Melody of Riot is due out July 12 from Transmit Sound/Legacy Records. The record is the first where Jay Farrar has used the Son Volt moniker since 1998's Wide Swing Tremolo (Warner Bros). Tweedy has, however, issued solo albums during the interim

Check out this blurb from Aversion.com:

Son Volt will end a seven-year hiatus this summer with a new album.

The band's Okemah and the Melody of Riot is due out July 12 from Transmit Sound/Legacy Records. The record is the first where James Tweedy has used the Son Volt moniker since 1998's Wide Swing Tremolo (Warner Bros). Tweedy has, however, issued solo albums during the interim.

Son Volt's emergence from hiatus isn't a return to form as much as a fresh start. Tweedy assembled a new lineup for the new album
