Check out Doggiebox.
It's very easy to use and there's a library of different drum kits you can download. It sounds pretty authentic, and you can customize the patterns pretty easily.

good drum machine software
Hey All,
Any home musicians out there? I am looking for drum machine software to work with Mac OS X. I'd like something that sounds fairly authentic with a large library of percussion sounds that can do 4/4 and 3/4 time. It would be nice to be able to sample a part of a track from an LP or CD or whatever and use that sound in the beat. I've demoed Idrum and was not all that impressed with the library. The interface was good but the sounds just aren't there.
Anybody know of any good products out there?
How is Garageband by Apple? I have not looked into it too much.
