What's your favorite Tweedy UT song?
Sorry to jump into the discussion late, but I've just jumped into the forum, too...
"Gun," which I think represented a major breakthrough in Tweedy's skill as a songwriter. It's what made me think he could someday lyrically compete with Jay. I still think it's one of the best things he's ever written.
After that, "Black Eye," "No Sense In Lovin'," and "Screen Door." Typical choices, yes, but deserving ones.
I know it's not UT, but I've always felt that "Dash 7" didn't get enough respect. It's my favorite track from A.M..

I second that! After listening to the four "long plays" recently, I noticed too how well the backing vocals are... by both of them.mcmi0402 wrote:I am going to have to go with Fatal Wound and there is nothing at all wrong with New Madrid either- gotta love Jay's backing vocals.
Fatal Wound is really good as is D. Boon and Watch Me Fall. Did someone mention these? Sorry, if I've repeated--I'll spare you any excuses.
