I met up with him when he was playing with another band ... years ago ... Route 66.

As far as Jackhead
I know most of them and have swigged a few beers with them ... met a few before the free Wilco show in C'dale this spring
But my main man in Cecil ... He's my boy He and I used to be in a band way back in 1995-96 .... And I also know Jake (I think he's back playing bass for them) ...

A little bird told me that The Bottlerockets will be playing tonight (Friday) at Fredricks Music Lounge here in St. Louis .. originally Diesel Island (a Bottlerocket side project) was slated to play but I've heard that The Bottlerockets will use tonight as sort of a warm up for their fall tour ...
My buddies band Jackhead is opening up ... they go on at 9:30 and are well worth checking out ...
Now that I think about it ... even if the Bottlerockets don't play and it is Diesel Island you'd still get a chance to see Brian Hennemann(sp) ...
