I'm sure you Jodel hatas also despise the Spack Junk. Open your minds and let the noise wash through ya peeps!
Best UT? I still got to go with the Rolling Stone ** album, "Still Feel Gone". Great songs... I mean Punch Drunk, Postcard, D. Boon back to back to back... what a killer trio, and Discarded kicks it too. Two-star review my ass....it deserves classic status.
Sandusky is the single best UT moment to my thinking.

Slate is awesome!! Even more fun to play (at least as well as I can) I even bought it again when it was re-issued and got the great Jay tune Stay True, Jeff;'s Whereever which is good too.
How did i forget Steal the crumbs.. Fits right in with 15 keys and Slate, and High Water.... To bad I didnt get to hear any of them when I saw Jay in Chicago last month. Alexa - Great minds think alike.
Now to get the remaster of March 16-20 to get the Moonshiner Live version.

Whats your favorite Uncle Tupelo album? What song of UT, SV, Jay, Jeff or Wilco don't you like and why.
March 16-20, 1992 is my favorite and I think its Jay's strongest work not that any of it is bad except Jodel, that gives me a headache. I don't know if supposed to be bad for a reason but if it is it worked. I know its just a harmonica solo but jesus.
