'Tis good to be back, Watcha!

"Someday someone will say, 'For what?"

"Put up the red flag"

YOU'LL WALLOW IN AND WEAR WHAT YOU'VE FALLEN INTO

NO PANGS PROVIDE DELIVERY

------------------------------------------------------------

The ones in all-caps I just can't remember without singing along after a couple of 60-min IPAs ...

------------------------------------------------------------

Teeth bite the tongue looking for salvage in the damage that's done

Too many years spent in trigger happy times

-----------------------------------------

There are so many lines, so many words. 'Tis the beauty of listening to Jay. We've found a songwriter who doesn't give up the ghost or give in to all the horseshit. I was thinking on the way home from work, cranking Still Feel Gone, (not that I'm hung up on UT--I love everything that's come out of that boy's mouth on tape), I'm glad Jay doesn't say shit at shows. I'm glad Jay has guarded himself against the press-driven stupid Godfather of Americrap ... you know why? Because he persists. And his words and his rock and his lullabys say it all ...

Talk to the music.

There's a beach there known for cancer.

Trace came out when I was graduating highschool and my grandma was dying of cancer and we would drive out there to visit her and Sacramento in the summer is sandy and dry like a desert and I was sure Ten Second Buzz was talking about my situation. Death was in the air for me that summer and that line- that song summed it up.

Some time I'll share one of the coolest live rock and roll moments of seeing that song played live.

Over the falls in a barrell is where the answers have gone

Call it off and make amends, this life burns down from both ends

Never thought once to ask, hows the temperature, too busy with the finer points
