enjoy it while you can. My baby is now almost 15. when they are little and tiny and helpless they need you for everything. You are like god to them. Then about 4th grade you start becoming less and less relevant and by the time they are 15, forget about it.
Just kidding mostly. I wouldn't trade a second of it. Kids are great from babies on up. I want more!!!
ct, that is really cool isn't it? How far along is she? Take my advice: if you have the opportunity, get the 4D ultrasound. We had one done about 3 or 4 months ago and its leaps and bounds better than the regular ultrasound. Here's a sample shot of my son, in utero:
By the way, he is scheduled to be born a week from today. We have two older daughters and I'm looking forward to having a baby again. Sorry, ct. I didn't mean to hijack your thread with my baby stuff. I hope everything goes well. Parenthood is a wonderful thing.

Good advice... man, they grow up so incredibly fast. Mine is 2 and a half and it feels like he was just born a few months ago...
I believe with teh price of childbirth, the hospital should include a camcorder for the parents to take home with the baby.
that sound "woke" me up and shook me straight into adulthood
loving each and every moment with my lil' girl.

Congratulations! Wait until he is 19 and blasting Black Sabbath out of his room while you are trying to wake up after a night shift and trying to listen to Sebastopol.
