Ha. I was actually ten feet away from that action. I didn't realize who it was involved until the news reports came out.

Saw them open up for Tweedy at the Vic back in January, and I was impressed ( a rare feat with opening bands for me). Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to get me a copy

Highly reccommended. You may or may not be familiar w/ Goober & The Peas -- they've toured w/ UT as well as Wilco and others. Last night was their cd release party and I have to say-- the new album is on par w/ anything put out by The Handsome Family. Check out the samples on their website. Buy their album.
