I believe the strat is Sweet B, Brad's guitar he has set up for slide work. There should be other pix out here of it and him playing it.

Check out that Strat with the upside-down headstock that Brad's rockin'. That's a new one to me......

(And perhaps the first documented instance of a Stratocaster in Son Volt. Yes, I'm a gear geek.)
