Wow.

I got mine in the mail today, waited until the evening to give it "the listen."
It is utterly amazing.
I don't know what else to say.
The album just kept going new places, I never knew where Jay was going to take me.
I love the moments just after the first listen. So many new songs buzzing in my head. I don't know them all by heart, yet... So they are all just lingering in my mind. Exciting first impressions.
Pure joy. Fuckin' A. Amen.
I agree with every word. It's an amazing album. Surprising and original.

There's a cool little afterglow of taking in the first few listens to a new album by one of your favorite artists (or in this case, simply my favorite.) Trolly Goldstein 1 through 19 can't ruin it. Nothing can ruin it. It's a great day. Awesome new tunes buzzing around my head.

My review: "Brilliant"

What a very cool albumn. Lots of soul and depth. I can't say one bad thing about the record.

*Notes never indicated who submitted the artwork. Any help?

Favorite track(s) : Meth, Search, Picture
The disc I bought said the artwork was by Michael Joo.

Go here to check out his other work....http://www.antonkerngallery.com/

I really like the album so far. Action jumped out at me. I like the change of tempo and the lyrics show Jay at his best. 'There's a girl I want to see on each side of that marching drum' and 'Break up the old drug pound story, torured soul wears an ego sleeve. I have not really got into the 8 extra tracks yet.

To me, Circadian and Highways are the class of the album so far. They're all good, though.

I couldn't find any other general "The Search" threads, so I figured I would drag up the original.
