Ok it is 8 degrees today here in Chicago. EIGHT degrees - for the high! It's oh about 25 below with the wind chill. Will someone please remind me why I still choose to live in this city??? Is it my fabulous government job? Or could it be our dominating pro sports teams (ok I know I've injected lots of sarcasm here but please go easy on my Cubs)?? I think it's time to start looking towards some warmer climates... I'm getting too old for this crap.

man, hate to, you know, gloat, but it's just great out here in San Diego. Come to think of it, wednesday just might be a good time to drive the 10 minutes to Encinitas and hope for a dark Encinitas morning in honor of Jay at the Belly Up later that evening.
oh man I am way too excited.

I have frost build-up in the corners of my living room right now. I think the builder skimped on the insulation when he built my house.

we expect it to get that friggin' cold in this neck of the woods every winter but all that cold air from the west has been staying up in canada until it passes by to the east coast. we were a balmy 20 degrees today. should be interesting for that football game in foxboro on sunday.

i don't know about you guys...
