I tried listening to Lucero when some of you talked about them but couldn't get into it at all. NPR starts promoting this album, All a Man Should Do with the Warren Zevon's Los Angeles song on it and I got hooked. The whole album is really, really good. This prompts me to revisit the older stuff and lo and behold, I have a new, if only temporary, favorite band. I rarely take people's suggestions about new music because I think listening to music is personal. Something that strikes me in a way may not affect you at all. That said, at 44, it's nice to be wrong. I'll pay better attention.
