Friday night's Dallas show was just incredible. One of the best I have ever seen. Jay is one of the most important artists of the last 20 years, and just impresses me more and more each time I see and hear him. I saw Jay at the ACL music Fest in September, and thought that show couldn't be topped, but it was last night. Canyon rocks and were a great opener. I thought for sure Brandon was going to fall off the stage or knock something over as he was jamming. Man they sounded great. Jay has never sounded better, his voice or guitar, and Canyon's backing just makes the music that much better. I think both acts are better LIVE than on record. Jay's Martin, Bonanzinga and Epiphone all sounded great. The grand finale of Jay acoustic doing Driving the View, Tear Stained Eye and Windfall, constrasted with the outrageously beautiful, loud, cover of Lucifer Sam was just astounding. I was in awe, the amount of noise and beauty coming off that stage blew me away. They all ROCK!!
