I voted for Clear Day Thunder. This song is a rich, dense piece of musical goodness. In fact, I'm gonna listen to it right NOW.

Clear Day Thunder for me. Just love the way the instrumentals kick-in and build up. This song kills, especially when it was played live with Canyon backing Jay several years back.

Creosote is lovely. Though Criminals is good one too. Hard decision to make considering there of lots of other great "C" choices.

I would've leaned toward this, too.

Had I not been too late to vote, that is.
For me it's gotta be Creosote vs. Chickamauga.
Which is somewhat akin to a walk in the clouds vs. a punch in the gut.

Or, maybe the juxtaposition of the two stylistically means I get to pick them both?

Dang... no love for Chanty? Maybe it's the sellout factor. Is the song ruined? Tarnished?

I love it. It would have been my 3rd choice.

I'm currently in love with this song.

New song off of the unreleased The Search. I haven't heard it myself...but clearly others have.

Had to work hard on this one. Narrowed it down to two: Caryatid Easy and Cemetery Savior. In the end I went with Caryatid Easy.

Tough choice. Creosote narrowly over California. Both are songs that are among the ten or so that are hard-wired to my brain now... and I will find myself humming or singing at any time... no matter my mood.

Never been a big Caryatid guy. Or Chickamauga.
