You're right. The album once again reaches Jay's brilliance when put in proper context...

Hanging On To You (both versions) is great.

I voted for II.

Easiest one yet. Hanging Blue Side. I remeber the first time I listened to WST this song instantly was my second favorite, right after Medicine Hat. Can't wait for the M's...

"Say hello to the blue side hangng around".

I second that! All of the "H" songs on Terrior could easily be my vote..love Jay's voice on this album. So heartelt lovely sad romantic swooness.

And "Hard Times", well, love the GI project. Could be my favorite live Jay evah. This album was pure perfection, and even more glorious live.

But have to go with "Hanging Blue Side".

Hard Times also. I love Jay's singing on this song. Very simple, very heartfelt and real.

Hard Times, with (very loud) shout-outs to Hanging Blue Side and High Water.

Could easily be a three-way tie for me.

Honoroable mentions: hard is the fall and hangin on to you.
Runner up: Hard Times
Victor: Hanging Blue Side
High Water is a good song but I don't like it nearly as much as all y'all. Perhaps it's because I first heard Jay in SV1 form.

i love these "next time won't you sing with me" polls, L-Fan!!!

this letter is very hard. i went with High Water, but the SS&BL Heart On The Ground is stellar, as are Hanging Blue Side, Hard Times, Highway and Cigarettes and Hanging On To You.

great stuff...
