Looking For A Way out is the best L song, the best Jay Farrar song and maybe the best fucking song I've ever heard.

Voted for "Looking For A Way Out", the acoustic version. Jeff and Jay sure sound purdy harmonizing on this one.

But OMG... Life Worth Living? Left A Slide? Windshield? Live Free? The L's RAWK!!!

Looking For a Way Out got my vote, UT at their best, sounding a little like
Neil. Left a Slide is probably better, but it's a runaway, as LF predicted.

"last minute shakedwon" was the song that introduced me to son volt. i heard it going into the lincoln tunnel on the way to see gbv. it'll always send chills, as will "left a slide." but "shakedown's" gotta be the one.

Loose string because I heard it first. Alot of good ones here, but String is close to my heart.

Left a Slide, but so many good ones here. No second place love for Lili? Great drone sound and acoustic on this track. Lucifer Sam is also one of my favorite covers.

Man this one was tough. 3 way tie between Live Free, Life Worth Living and Last Minute Shakedown. Went with Live Free since it's from Trace. Last Minute Shakedown is one of my all time favorites.
