Wow. A friend told me he wanted to go to this because Muse was playing and he got me into Muse. So I was immediately interested, but then I see Son Volt is playing, too, and I'm very happy.

sturgeon-I've proposed that they change the name of their band to "Love Jackson's best friend's sister's band" but so far they've been reluctant due to the exorbatant number of apostrophies.

looks like an OK lineup...i like the Roots, Ben Harper, Black Keys, a few others...I hope the ACL lineup is a bit meatier than this.

Just saw a listing of the bands playing this year on
www.93xrt.com Son Volt is on the list along with one of my best friend's sister's bands. I'm always weary of big festival type concerts, but I might have to make a exception this time.
