the thought has occurred - Jay doing a gig in West Plains, Woodrell's home town and Dent county, just a crow fly n' holler north. What with Jay's penchant for soundtrack and poetry scores, it raises curiosity that there's a potential collaboration. just pure speculation....
i'm patial to the Missoura shine over the Tennesse white whiskey but meth is something i haven't any knowledge in.

Struggling with this myself. Just can't get into a flow with it.

I read the series-to-date within the past year - pretty amazing.
You are right though - the change in point of view from chapter to chapter, and the sheer number of characters and family histories is pretty baffling. It'll fall into place eventually if you hang in there.
It is weird though. He really geeks out and obsessively details character wardrobes, the various courses served at these courtly dinners....he's a real life medieval Europe history dork, and has said that the War of the Roses is one of his chief inspirations on this project.
