Yeah, seeing them live is a great time! I've seen them three times and they've all been great shows.Texas Tom wrote:Nobodys Darling is a great f'n album. The guitars on that one are just great and Jim Dickinson's production is wondeful too.
Nobody's Darlings is great but I'd say Tennessee is right up there too.

Something called The Daily Habit. I hadn't ever heard of the show until I saw on Lucero's website that they were going to be on it. They did "I Can Get Us Out of Here" and a new one called "Johnny Davis" that was pretty cool.gdavis5446 wrote:What? Saw them in concert last weekend (did Johnny Davis there too) and it made me really ready for a new album from them. According to Ben Nichols (he told me as I was sitting next to him at the bar.....sorry, had to throw that in) there should be a new album in the spring.

Pretty sure season 7 (starting Sept) is the upcoming final season of The Shield and Seasons 1-6 are available on DVD. Great watch, but definately do not watch out of order (or ever read about the show).trailrider wrote:Weeds on DVD. Getting ready to start The Wire, also on DVD (I'm way too cheap to pay for HBO and Showtime).
I picked up on The Shield via DVD a few seasons in and they've delayed releasing the newest seasons, which really pisses me off. I don't want to watch the new ones without seeing the stuff in the middle.
A little Daily Show and Colbert, regularly, and Lost.

They made some good casting choices (Esai Morales, Eric Stoltz, Paulacalexico wrote:Glen, what do you hear about Caprica?

Malcolmson, Polly Walker), and the only teaser I've seen was pretty good,
but I'm afraid it might be a little too Soap Opera-ish. I could be wrong
though. I hope I'm wrong.
