CAFO (Factory Farm)

That is bad news. I feel for you. That those "farms" are legal is corporate government at it's 'finest'. That idiots in the community are in favor shows peple's ignorance. Jobs are not worth destroying your town. I come from a long line of real farmers in Indiana and Michigan. I grew up on a citrus grove that my dad and I worked. You have to understand where your food comes from. Good luck with your impending move.

Well, our neighbors are planning to build a 8,000 head Hog confinment about 1/4 mile from the house (due west..even better)

Please help me understand. Ammonia in the air and serious groundwater problems (yes, we have a well water)

We have lived there for 20 years and the farmer neighbors told us to "Go back to the City" for opposing the facility.

I love family farmers, I love pork, but I can't stand this nonsense.

Any thoughts or ideas?
