Speaking of Henneman and the B. Rockets - anybody got any live that they'd want to trade?

Was anybody there?

Yep, I was living in Columbia at the time and caught the last 4 UT shows, 2 night at the Blue Note in Columbia and the 2 at Mississippi Nights.

Yeah, I would like to see that. Henneman sounds like he's pretty smashed, he hacked up most of the song, especially between the first verse and chorus, he goes into it way too early. It would have been fun, I'm sure it was a pretty big party. Unfortunately I wasn't there, was anyone on the board there?

Cool!!
Though a huge fan of Brian's. the vocals were OK, but the backing music had the whole Skynard thing down pretty well ... It's almost a funny image for me to see Jay ripping away on his guitar on that tune ....The song has been played at EVERY wedding reception, with live band or DJ, that I've ever been to.
Speaking of Skynard
Catching the Drive-By Truckers on Friday at Mississippi Nights in St. Louis ... can't wait ... 2nd time I've seen them in just a couple of months ......

I downloaded a live version of this that was said to be Uncle Tupelo doing it live as a cover .. It sounds like Brian Henneman singing and I wonder if it was Tupelo backing him .. anyone know?
