Best morning in a long time!!
Mr. dcarter:
I'm sure you probably know this, but just in case....
NPR has a great music page with tons of concerts you can listen to. I think there are two Son Volt shows. One from their concert series from the 930 club in DC which is a goood 1.5 to 2 hr show. The other is a shorter show from Philly.

I think Jay really just doesn't give a damn about any of that stuff.
He obviously doesn't care that his website is not maintained, or that we have to find out about his concerts/tours from places other than here...hell, we are lucky if they let us know when a new CD is coming out.
The Wilco people have obviously embraced the internet, while Jay continues to be happy with an occasional interview with Harp magazine.
apples and oranges, my friend.....apples and oranges.

i never said that it did. It isn't my fault that they do a hell of a lot of fan-friendly things, with the glaring exception of canceling a sold-out show to be on SNL. That doesn't outweigh everything else, though. I assume that Jay/his label/management/etc. cannot afford things like live webcasts and archived shows. That is a crime.ScottZeagle wrote:I would love to hear Jay/SV on the web...but it has nothing to do with the fact that Wilco did it...

The dole que adding to your surreal girth is our tax dollars at work.
Not that I need to explain but my 1st period did the same thing that they would have done, an assignment connected to the chapter being studied. The only difference is that music was playing. 2nd period is my planning period. I did the same thing i always do, grade papers with music playing.
I hope that Jay does live webcasts, hell even recorded shows streamed, sometime.

Best morning in a long time!!
I'm am listening to a webcast of Wilco live from Melbourne, Aussieland. It started at 7 AM. I think that this has been the most relaxed my first period has been in a while1 They are quietly doing their assignment while I dig this show. Now playing 'Shouldn't Be Ashamed'!!
