Rushmore comes to mind, big time.

The Graduate

I like the Devine Secrets of the Yaya Sisterhood (never saw it), minus a couple songs, so all-in-all not the greatest, but there's a song by Bob Dylan on there that was only realeased on it, think it's called I'll be Waiting for You, also some Jimmy Reed

The original Northern Exposure soundtrack also holds a place in my heart.

There are some great Italian soundtracks, some of Fellini's come to mind.

Once I went to see a soundtrack of The Passion of Joan of Arc at Tonic in New York, by Lee Renaldo and his friends (God--what is that drummer's name...Tim Barnes, maybe?), which was very amazing. I'm sad I can't get a hold of it.

I'm sort of partial to the Snatch soundtrack as well, although I don't own any
music like that.
Does this previous mention mean I can't like it? Let me know.
Yes. Sorry.

"She's the One" soundtrack is more like a Tom Petty solo album. Great songs.

In fact that was the last soundtrack that I purchased.

But did they? They didn't change mine apart from the fact I don't listen to the Shins very much any more.
Agreed! In fact the Shins may have changed my life for a 1-2 year period but lately they have dropped completely off my radar (something I can never imagine the Volt doing, among others.)

My top soundtracks have already been mentioned, but I'll mention 'em anyway again, just to be cool:

Singles
Slaughter Rule
Kill Bill Vol. 1
Jackie Brown

Tarantino soundtracks I'm not that fond of: Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill Vol. 2
