can the C's make it 20 in a row?

and nice call on Rondo...11/5/7 so far this year is impressive.

If Rhondo picks up a jump shot, even a half way decent one, he is going to be an incredible player. He's got speed, up's, and pretty good court awareness right now, plays very good defense....... add a jumper and a floater and look out NBA.

Could be another Tiny

Well, I don't like having to admit it, but the better team won this series. Again, I despise the Celtics more than any other professional sports franchise, but I have to admit to finding their players likeable - especially Paul Pierce (who should have been a Sixer) and Kevin Garnett.

I just can't bring myself to root for them when they put on that repulsive green jersey.

That said, a couple observations:

Pierce was the best player in the series. He outplayed Kobe in every game but Game 5 and really surprised me with his defense.

Garnett was not the offensive presence I thought he would be, but the way he neutralized Gasol's low-post game was very impressive.

I never thought Rajon Rondo would translate into much of an NBA player because of his lack of a jump shot, but he is an excellent point guard, especially for a team with the variety of scorers Boston has.

The Boston bench ran circles around the Lakers bench. Vujacic in particular was very disappointing.

This was a lose-lose finals as far as who won it. It's hard to really hate on
the LA teams these days, so the Lakers night have been the preferred choice,
although I think the Celtics are the most palpable of the Boston teams, so
it's borderline tolerable.

and -9

which means the lakers outscored the celtics when kobe wasn't on the floor

looks like kobe is 38-88 from the field in the finals (43 percent)

he's also 11-for-54 from 3 in last 13 playoff games
And he's a Richard Noggin to boot.
