Appears that the present blame isn't on Brownie but on the rider.
Now I'm not truely versed in the horse racing gig, and I know that most want to skewer the trainer due to prerace predictions. But, I think he has a point on the way KD rode at the Belmont. It just appeared really erratic having to pull him up at the first turn, then running him into another trying to get to the outside. Again, I'm no expert at such things, but from an armchair jockey - it appeared to be a fairly poor ride.
