Pablo Honey is practically a Pixies album, but not as good as an actual Pixies album.
I loved The Bends and OK Computer.
Liked some of the latter stuff...but unfortunately, Radiohead seems to get more and more full of themselves and their ride-the-fence art rock...and PR gimmicks.
All the media attention poured upon and welcomed by them for the online release of the new album was insulting really when there have been bands making that DIY effort to avoid label-signing for years already. It was all pretentious and pointless coming from a band with their mainstream exposure.
I'm as bored with Radiohead as i am with Wilco.

I just dont get it, I bought OK Computer, it was ok I guess, but a classic??Hank Snow wrote:The Bends and OK Computer are classics, just perfect albums.
It dosent help that every magazine seems to say things like Greatest Band That Ever Breathed and all that crap... They are a medicore band at best IMO. They arent near the same class as other british bands like The Smiths, Buzzcocks, The Jam, hell even Oasis. imo

The Bends and OK Computer are classics, just perfect albums. Other stuff is good but not as much too my liking.
MMJ seem to not be sure of where they are or where they are going musically. That can be good and bad. I wasn't too fond of Z, except for a couple songs, and so far the same is true for this album.
They are a great band, with a great sound, and much potential, they just don't seem consistent.
