i did a quick search for whatever the (preemptive) 2009 guthrie release might be, then stopped.

i dunno if i wanna know. i'm scared it's gonna be the bald guy from Live or the Jonas bros or GE Smith or Corey Glover/Vernon Reid.

If this is the case, let's hope Jay got dibs on 2009; otherwise this sounds like a pretty big fuckup by his management. Maybe they'd like to post an update on the "news" page.

I don't think he, or anyone for that matter, was aware of this stipulation.
