Norway will not advance past the first round... oh wait a minute

Don't count out Ireland. They certainly are deserving of a hand.

Great win! I know ac milan is getting old, but that was a sweet win.
Madrid losing is sweet as well.

Jaysus, Cal, I thought Almunia made you nervous but Fabianski was a horror show in his stead. Howlers on both goals. At least old Sol pulled one back with a bullet header.

Havn't seen anything from the game. Looks like they've got Rooney in top form at right moment of the season.

It'll be interesting to see the Barca game next week. It's time for Zlatan to score goals in Europe

Rooney is different class but after a dream start, Milan had the chances to put it out of reach early and didn't take them. I can't see AC Milan winning by 2 at Old Trafford. You are as good as in the quarterfinals, Tom.

Ha ha! I looked at the photo again. According to the caption, he was just hit by a coin. According to the photo, while he was doubled over from the coin, that Magners/Bulmers bottle (I can't tell which) clocked him in the melon!

I'd have emptied the bottle, pissed into it and then launched it at Bellamy, the insufferable Welsh twat.

Cal, were you at the Manchester Derby yesterday because that looks like your brand of cider? What do you have against Bellamy? I thought that you hated the Red Scum.

That was a hell of a 2nd leg. After Tevez brought City level, I thought extra time for sure. Then Rooney at the death. Both legs were fine football.
