Charlotte,NC 6-24 report

Great show as usual! Eric Heywood is back on pedal steel. The Neighborhood theater has doubled in size since the last time I was there and it's a good thing, there were at least 400 people there and it could not have held everyone. Jay and Eric both shined and they looked like they were havin' fun. It was hard to tell how good the crows was below, we were at the very top, second level.

Setlist (out of order and probably ommissions)

Trace in its entirety (windfall was moved to the end)
Back into your world
Driving the view
Methamphetamine
The picture
Bakersfield
Ballymena (new song, I have a video)
Brickwalls
Afterglow 61

Encore

Hearts and Minds
Everybody must get stoned

I know I missed at least 3 on this list and I want to say they are from honky tonk.
The cover of everybody must get stoned may have been the highlight. They fuzzed up the pedal steels and put an enormous amount of reverb and echo on them, it was amazing. It filled up the whole damn place with sound. I have to figure out how to get this video on here from my phone next....
