I was really considering make the trip over to The Caverns to see SV but Jay's got everything off till Newport in July. I hope that still happens. I hope a lot of things.

A huge upswing in virtual concerts for tips from my local\regional scene, i'm sure its the same everywhere. I get it when its your livelihood some have been enjoyable.

i definitely miss playing out and seeing live music, there's nothing like it.

Hope we all see each other somewhere soon. be well and be safe.

So no concerts for a few months, a little inconvenient for us. But most of the musicians that people on this board go to see have already been pinched by free access to recordings via the internet, and make their living on tour. Also the next gen musicians who play once/twice a week, that we meet at open mics trying to get "exposure"...another reason I hope we can all get back to normal soon.

James McMurtry, Mar 29, saw him last year but he was in the 45-minute leadoff spot for Jason Isbell, not quite enough to stretch out.

I saw Sturgill a couple years ago in Asheville, he was great, channeling Waylon, etc...

Saw him last week and was like wtf, it was great, he's evolved. bring earplugs. i'm old.

I'm catching Bob Weir this week if that tells you anything

Reigning Sound w/ Cliff Westfall at Hank’s Saloon in Brooklyn on 4/26. Reigning Sound’s ‘Shattered’ (2014) is one of my favorite records. Been wanting to see them live forever, and just so happens I’ll be in NYC with the fam at the same time as their record release party.

And Son Volt in Chattanooga about 3 weeks later!

Bottle rockets tonight in Newport Kentucky. I can't wait! I don't think I've seen them 15 years.

I also got tickets to see Son Volt open up for Jason Isbell in Louisville in April.
