Great stuff, thanks... I hadn't seen that video. I hope to see some form of Songs: Molina in the future. I thought Mark Rice did a great job on vocals in the memorial shows I've heard. I know they played in Asheville in 2014. Would love to see them play The Grey Eagle. I believe Magnolia Electric Co. played there with Jason once or twice.

One of the best. I discovered Magnolia Electric Company back in the Napster days. Been listening ever since, huge respect. Check out Goshen Electric Company. Strand of Oaks lead singer with members of Molina's band. https://www.stereogum.com/2014863/goshe ... wer/music/

Nice... I had never even heard of Jason, until a few years after his death. Someone on this site posted a photo of "The Magnolia Electric Co" album cover, and the photo alone inspired me to dig deeper. I fell in the rabbit hole. I've had my own issues with alcoholism. I was actually sick at the same time he was. I had a liver transplant in January, 2014. I realize he was not as fortunate. I can definitely relate to the emotions he expresses through his music. I think he did that better than anyone I've ever heard. I've been sober since 2012. Here's another one I like a lot:
